UPH Biology students, lecturers, and alumni embarked on a meaningful Biology Outing Day to <\/span><\/span>Pulau <\/span>Pramuka<\/span> on 14 \u2013 16 July 2025,<\/span><\/span> combining exploration, education, and community building by visiting marine ecosystem.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Over two days, participants were able to snorkel and admire the vibrant coral reefs. Aside from that, they visited <\/span><\/span>marine conservation sites<\/span><\/span> to learn about the challenges faced by ocean ecosystems. Special attention was given to <\/span><\/span>sea <\/span>turtle<\/span> and seahorse conservation sites<\/span><\/span>, where participants gained insights into the biology of these species, the threats they face, and how future biologists and community can contribute to their protection.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Beyond learning, the outing also served as a valuable opportunity for students to <\/span>interact with alumni, exchange ideas, and expand their professional networks. These conversations helped bridge academic knowledge with real-world experience alumni have experienced. This activity is done to <\/span>integrate sustainability into student experiences\u00a0while also fostering a strong sense of community between current students and alumni.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
