Universitas Pelita Harapan was founded upon a clear vision which is “To be a Christ-centered university founded upon and promoting true knowledge, faith in Christ and godly character aiming to develop God-fearing, competent and professional future leaders through excellent, holistic and transformational education.”

To realize the vision through supporting the implementation of Thridarma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education) in Indonesia, a safe, healthy, clean, comfortable, and sustainable campus is required. Therefore, our commitment to sustainability is framed under Rector’s regulation: ‘Peraturan Rektor Universitas Pelita Harapan No. 010 year 2021 about Green Campus Policy’. The policy consists of environment management planning, water, paper, and electricity conservation, green building development and maintenance as well as land greening.

We hope through the policy and movement, UPH will grow to be safer, healthier, cleaner, more comfortable and more sustainable, along with increasing environmental awareness from all academic communities within.
