UPH Students, Staffs, and Lecturers Join LESTARI Summit 2025
On October 2, 2025, UPH students, staffs, and lecturers took part in LESTARI Summit 2025. The event was held in South Jakarta and organized by Kompas. The summit brought together academics, government officials, corporations, youth, and other sectors of society to discuss pressing environmental issues under the theme “Thriving Together and Cultivating Resilience for a Sustainable Future.”
One of the key topics discussed during the summit was climate change and Indonesia’s commitment to achieving net zero emission by 2045. The event highlighted how every part of society plays a role in reducing carbon footprints and Lestari awards were given to honor individuals and companies making significant contributions toward sustainability.
Students and lecturers gained valuable insights into the actions and perspectives of various sectors in tackling environmental challenges. They also had the opportunity to participate in discussions, deepening their understanding of climate issues and reinforcing the importance of sustainability in academic and campus activities.
